Community Outreaches

Cyber Patrol

Once per month Men gather at the New Life Refuge office for Cyber Patrol where they create fake online posts of underage girls for sale. This give them an avenue to engage and educate would-be buyers on the realitis of prostitution on buying underage girls for elicited sex. See the full description on the Men on a Mission page.

Nueces County Juvenile Detention

This program brings trafficking education to children at the Detention Center. This is a monthly commitment for 1 year and requires additional background processes and training.

Exotic Dance Club Outreach (Committee Forming)

Seeking volunteers to create a strip club outreach committee. There are many components to this opportunity. There will be everything from making goodie bags to going into the clubs and talking.

School / Educational Outreach

Connecting with educators and administrators to bring internet safety and life-saving information on how to identify, report, and prevent child trafficking.

Youth Action / anti-trafficking clubs

Bring the anti-trafficking message to your colleges, schools, sports clubs, and churches. Youth will need to be sponsored by an adult. There is no cost to students for these rsources.

Free Bible Study for All Church and Other Faith Partners

This 5 past series from USIAHT provides a Biblical perspective in combatting this crime and providing hope to the hopeless.

What's Gift Cards for Goodies?

Our “Gift Cards for Goodies” has two meanings for the child survivors of trafficking healing at our campus. Gift cards are a reward for healthy choices and behavior and of course, they can then pick out tangible “goodies” with the gift cards. The program provides recognition for the child survivors when they hit a milestone, help another student out, grow in leadership, go above and beyond, or are just “caught doing something good”.

How does a Dollar become Dynamic?

1) Contact New Life Refuge Ministries to complete your For Benefit of Fundraising commitment before raising money. Call 361-946-6331 or EMail: Info@NewLifeRefuge.com

2.) Make a collection container. (Graphics/template provided)

3) What you simply say to people in your office, people in any group, and / or to people you meet: “Please give $1.00 to help stamp out human trafficking.” That’s all that is needed. If they have questions give a simple explanation about New Life Refuge Home of Hope for underage survivors.

4) Ask the person to, in turn, “spread the word about the issue and need for housing,”– ask others to begin to collect.

5) The simple dollar over and over becomes the “Dynamic Dollar!”

6) Remember: a “decline of a dollar” for your jug is not a reflection of you personally. Keep plugging away!
